Darwin AI achieves TX-RAMP Level 2 Certification, enabling Texas agencies to meet TRAIGA AI governance standards ahead of 2026.

Darwin AI has achieved TX-RAMP Level 2 Certification from the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR), solidifying our commitment to helping Texas agencies meet the cybersecurity and AI governance standards required under the Texas Responsible AI Governance Act (TRAIGA) ahead of the 2026 compliance deadline.
TX-RAMP Level 2 represents the state’s highest standard for cloud services that handle confidential or regulated data. Earning this certification confirms Darwin’s ability to meet rigorous data protection requirements while delivering specialized solutions designed to help government organizations manage AI securely and responsibly.
“As Texas state agencies prepare for TRAIGA compliance, they need partners who meet the highest data security standards while understanding the nuances of AI governance,” said Noam Maital, Co-founder and CEO of Darwin AI. “This certification validates our ability to serve as a trusted partner in their AI journey—helping agencies of every size move from experimentation to enterprise adoption with confidence.”
Darwin’s platform unifies TX-RAMP-certified security and AI governance capabilities into a single system, giving agencies the visibility and control needed to deploy AI safely and at scale. “Our goal has always been to help governments adopt AI securely and responsibly,” added Dustin Haisler, Chief AI Officer and U.S. General Manager at Darwin AI. “This certification ensures our partners can innovate knowing their efforts are backed by the state’s highest cybersecurity standards and fully aligned with emerging AI governance requirements.”
The achievement builds on Darwin’s broader mission to serve as a trusted foundation for public sector AI transformation—helping governments move from isolated pilots to enterprise-level adoption with the guardrails, compliance, and transparency required for long-term success.
To support Texas agencies as they prepare for the upcoming January 1, 2026 TRAIGA deadline, Darwin AI will host a free webinar, Navigating TRAIGA: What Texas Agencies Need to Know About the New AI Governance Law Before 2026, on December 3, 2025. The session will break down TRAIGA’s key requirements, deadlines, and practical steps for implementation across both state and local governments.
